      How Do I Trigger an SOS on WorkerSafety Pro?

      This article demonstrates how to trigger an SOS on WorkerSafety Pro in an emergency.

       

      The following is demonstrated using screenshots from an iPhone. Please note that WorkerSafety Pro for Android will look nearly identical to the screenshots shown here.

      1. On the Home screen of WorkerSafety Pro, slide the SOS button.
      2. After sliding the button, an 8-second silent countdown timer will begin.
      3. After the silent countdown timer expires, an SOS alarm will be created. Your emergency contact will be notified of the alarm you just created.
      4. If your organization uses Becklar's Monitoring Center, you will receive a call back from the Automated Voice Assistant (AVA).
        1. After you answer the call, AVA will ask, "Hello, user's name. This is Becklar Workforce Safety. Do you need help?"
        2. Reply, "Yes." 
        3. You will be connected to a live operator who will assist you in getting the right emergency services dispatched. 
        4. Conversely, if you miss the call back from AVA, a live operator will dispatch emergency services to you.
      5. If your organization does not use Becklar's Monitoring Center, your emergency contact will contact you to assist with the emergency.
