How do I Use Work Schedule in the Safety Portal?

This article demonstrates how to use Work Schedule in the Safety Portal.

Work Schedule is used to trigger an action in WorkerSafety Pro based on a set work schedule. The actions that can be triggered on Worker Safety Pro include:

  • Auto Start Work
  • Auto Stop Work
  • Only Send a Reminder (to start work)
  • Only Send a Reminder (to stop work)
  • Do Nothing.
Note:
  • The WorkerSafety Pro app must be running in the background for the "Auto Start Work" and "Auto Stop Work" options to function.
  • The "Auto Start Work" option starts all safety protocols that were running the last time work was stopped. The "Auto Stop Work" option automatically stops all safety protocols, except when a worker creates an in-app check-in after the stop time has elapsed.

To configure Work Schedule:

  1. Log into the Safety Portal by visiting "https://safetyportal.becklar.com/"
  2. Click on "Admin Settings."
  3. Click on "Start/Stop," then toggle the "Work Schedule" switch to enable it.
  4. Select the days for the schedule by clicking on their respective boxes. The days highlighted in blue will be the days work auto starts for the worker(s).

  5. Select a start time by clicking on the clock button to choose from a drop-down list.

  9. Click on the dropdown arrow under "Advanced Settings" to choose whether to lock or unlock the schedule. When it is unlocked or worker customization is enabled, workers can set their schedules in WorkerSafety Pro. This is especially applicable in situations where workers on the same team have different schedules. In this example, the schedule is unlocked.
  10. Click the box next to "Apply Changes To All Subgroups" to apply this schedule to all subgroups under the team you are currently creating the schedule for. In this example, the Central, East, North, and West teams will have this schedule set for them because they fall under the parent team "Becklar Workforce Safety." Otherwise, leave that box unchecked.

  11. Click "Save."
