Receiving text alerts

How do emergency contacts receive text alerts when someone has an emergency?

When WorkerSafety Pro detects an emergency, or when you activate the panic button (Slide for SOS button), alerts are sent out to your emergency contacts in three ways. One of these is via text alert.

The text alert is sent to the emergency contacts set up in your Safety portal if they have entered a valid mobile phone number. The text message will state that you are having an emergency and need assistance. The text notification also contains a link to the emergency alarm page which includes the GPS location information.

If your organization is subscribed to our Professional Monitoring service, the emergency contact will still be notified via text but the Monitoring service will dispatch authorities to the correct GPS location as needed.
