Where Does Bivy Work?

The Bivy satellite device works outdoors anywhere it has a clear, unobstructed line of sight to the sky. Weather conditions do not impact signal quality. Position the device vertically with the SOS button facing downward to improve the signal quality. The farther away you are from obstructions like buildings, mountains, and canyons, the better your signal quality will be.

Note: For the Bivy phone app to work with the Bivy satellite device, the Bivy app must be connected properly to the Bivy satellite device and stay within Bluetooth range (within 30 feet).
